This artwork is called “The Dinner Guest” and frankly I find the man in the picture quite rude. The dish he is scarfing down might have been the young woman’s’ fine china. Yet the man seems to not care what she thinks. Perhaps the man is so greedy to the face that he can’t just eat all her food but, he has to eat her plates to! Which is, (if I do say so myself) truly rude. Although, this may be just to show the greed of men in general. In which case, this would be a very creative way of showing it. The woman, on the other hand, is completely surprised by his behavior. So I’m thinking this was either the first time he has acted in this matter or they have only just met. Which makes me think, you really shouldn’t be eating a woman’s dinner plates on a first date, You should at least wait until the third or fourth date.
