10/11-10/15 BEST BAND EVER

         Ever since I was eleven years old I have always had a favorite band. That band is Green Day. It all started when I heard their song “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” on the radio while doing my homework. Ever since then, it has been a constant love affair that hasn’t ended since the summer of 2005. I find that their music has touches me in a way that no other band has or ever will.  I especially love the album “Nimrod”. I find that it is the only CD in which I love every one of their songs. So it’s no wonder my favorite song by them just happens to be on that CD. The song is called “Scattered”, I’m not exactly sure what it means but it touches my heart every time I hear it. I suppose it reminds me of all the memories I have had over my life span, the good and the bad. And I’m alright with that, I find its good to be aware with what is going on with your life. What I find is really funny with Green Day, is the fact that I have pretty much got my immediate family into them. My Mom, Dad and brother have all become Green Day fans since I have introduced them, most of all, my Dad. A lot of their songs from their newest CD “21^st Century Breakdown” has a lot of deep meaning to him. Since my Mom has recently become super religious, she wanted to steer away from Green Day because of some of the language that is in it. None the less, I still love this band and I don’t think I will ever betray my love for them. Especially for the
