This artwork is quite interesting; it almost seems like a dream because the picture seems so surreal. To me i seems to mean a cleansing of some kind. In the picture the dog’s spots seem to be pulled off or blown away. Also, since the dog is white it could also mean the spots of sins’ past are being taken away. It’s more like a baptizing when you think about it. In any case it’s like the Dalmatian is being cleansed. Then again that’s just my own opinion. It could also just be a dreamlike state; an event of some sort that could never be possible in the real world. Though it might be from one of his own dreams. Perhaps I should ask the artist myself.
